Apple Dumplings

Ingredients:
  • 1 can biscuits (Hungry Jack)
  • 5 apples, peeled and cored
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • Cinnamon sugar
  • Sugar
  • Pam

Instructions:

 Roll biscuits into round flat circles.  Place one half apple in middle of circle.  Sprinkle with sugar and pull edges around apple.  Placed tucked side down in dish sprayed with Pam.  Melt margarine in a sauce pan.  Add water and sugar and bring to a boil. Sprinkle dumplings with cinnamon sugar.  Pour liquid over dumplings.  Bake 25 to 35 minutes at 400 degrees.  These will cook to a golden brown.  Eat hot or cold and better with ice cream.
