Bourbon Slush

Ingredients:
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 6 individual tea bags
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 12 cups bourbon
  • ginger ale to taste

Instructions:

Steep the tea in the 2 cups water.  Mix in the sugar and stir until dissolved.  Add the orange juice and the lemonade and mix well.  Add the remaining water and the bourbon.  Stir well and freeze.  Stir several times during the first couple of hours to incorporate the bourbon well into the mixture.  When ready to serve, put into glasses or a punch bowl and add ginger ale and stir until a slushy consistency.  Enjoy.

This is my bridge club's signature drink for the the bridal parties we have given for our children.
