Candied Peanuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 2 cups raw peanuts
Instructions:
Combine the sugar and water in a heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add peanuts; cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until all liquid evaporates (about 15 minutes). Spread nuts on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Yields 2 cups.
