Chocolate Brickle Bars
- 2 sticks butter (no substitution)
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. Heath toffee bits
- 1 small pkg. saltine crackers (1 ½ sleeves)
Instructions: Line a large cookie sheet (12 x17) with non stick aluminum foil and then place the saltines on top very close together. Boil the butter and the sugar together for three minutes and pour over the saltines. Bake 350 degrees for 11 minutes. Spread the chocolate chips over the baked saltines while hot. Sprinkle the toffee bits over the melted chocolate and freeze. Take from freezer and break or cut into pieces. *This can also be done in a 10 x 15 jelly roll size pan using 1 sleeve of saltines.
