Corn Bread

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • ¾ tsp. slat
  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup oil

Instructions:
Sift sugar with baking powder, salt, and flour. Stir in corn meal, add eggs, milk and shortening. Pour into a greased 9x9 pan and bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
