Fabulous Fudge
About 64 fudge squares
Ingredients:
- 2 1⁄4 c. sugar
- 1 (5-oz.) can evaporated milk
- 16 large marshmallows
- 1⁄2 stick butter or margarine
- 1⁄4 tsp. salt
- 1 (6-oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions: Mix in heavy 2 qt. saucepan, the sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter and salt. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil and stir 5 minutes. Take off the heat. Stir in the chocolate chips until completely melted. Add the pecans and vanilla and stir well. Spread in buttered 8-inch square pan. Cool and cut into squares. Makes about 64 squares.
