Ingredients:
  • 4 cups chopped onions
  • 4 cups chopped cabbage
  • 4 cups green tomatoes (8 medium)
  • 12 green peppers
  • 6 red peppers
  • 6 cups vinegar
  • ½ cup salt
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbs. celery seed
  • 2 Tbs. mustard seed
  • 1 ½ tsp. turmeric

Instructions:
Sprinkle the vegetables with ½ cup salt. Let stand overnight. Rinse and drain the vegetables. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over vegetable mixture. Heat to boiling and simmer 15 minutes. Seal in hop sterilized jars. Makes 8-10 pints.
