Harvard Beets
Ingredients:
- 1 can beets
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup beet juice
- 1 rounded tsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions: Mix the sugar, water, vinegar and corn starch and simmer 2 or three minutes. Add drained beets and butter, salt and pepper. Simmer about 10 to 15 minutes.
