Hot Milk Cake

Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups plain sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • ΒΌ lb. butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions:

Beat eggs and sugar well together. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add dry ingredients to the first mixture and mix well. Heat butter and milk together and pour slowly into the cake batter. Add the vanilla. Bake 350 degrees about 40 minutes in a greased 9x13 pan. Use slow speed on mixer.
