Marinated Asparagus
- ¾ cup vinegar
- ¾ c. oil
- ½ c. sugar
- 3 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- small onion
- 2 Tbsp. poppy seed
Instructions: Cook fresh asparagus in boiling water about 3 minutes. Be careful not to overcook. Drain and get aside. Heat the vinegar and sugar, remove from heat and then add all the remaining ingredients and stir. Pour the marinade over the asparagus and marinate overnight. (You can also make a raw vegetable salad and use the marinade over it.)

3 stalks celery chopped small cauliflower broken into pieces
