Marinated Dill Oysterettes
- 2 (12 oz.) bags oyster crackers
- 1 cup oil
- 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch original salad dressing mix
- 1 Tbsp. dill weed
Instructions:
Put oil, dressing mix and dill weed in a zip-lock bag and shake; add crackers. Leave in marinate about 3 1/2 hours shaking occasionally. Pour out on paper towels and cover with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Notes:
This is Mama's recipe. Some people put these crackers in a 225 degree oven to crisp for 15 to 20 minutes. They are so good the way Mama does them that I'm not sure if toasting would improve the taste or not.
