Napa Salad

Ingredients:
  • 1 large head Romain lettuce
  • 5 green onions
  • 2 pkgs. Ramen noodles (uncooked and do not use flavor packet)
  • 13 cup sesame seeds (even less is fine)
  • ½ stick margarine
  • 1 small pkg. slivered almonds
Dressing
  • ¾ cup oil
  • 2/ tsp. soy sauce
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup vinegar

Instructions:

Melt margarine and brown noodles for a few minutes, then add almonds and lastly add sesame seeds. (The small things such as the sesame seed brown much faster and therefore scorch easier if add too soon.) Let this cool to room temptature and mix with lettuce and onions.

Blend and pour the dressing over the salad just prior to serving.
