Pear Cake

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 eggs, well-beaten
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 cups thinly sliced pears
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsps. Cinnamon
Glaze
  • 1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 – 4 tbsp. milk

Instructions:

Combine sugar, eggs and oil; beat well. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon and salt; add to sugar mixture one cup at a time. Stir in vanilla and pears. Spoon batter into a well-greased bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan and cool.

Mix together the powdered sugar and milk for the glaze and pour on top of cake.
