Ingredients:
  • 2 T. Butter or margarine, melted
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
Dough for Tart Shells
  • ½ cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup flour

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients. Fill each unbaked tart shell. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely; dust tops with powdered sugar.

For the tart shells: Combine butter and cream cheese. Add flour and mix to form a soft dough. Chill at least 1 hour or overnight. Form the dough into 30 walnut-sized balls. Place each ball of dough in a mini-muffin cup. Dip the Mini-Tart shaper from Pampered Chef in flour, press into the dough to shape perfect tart. Pierce the shell with a fork. Bake empty shells in 450 degree oven 10-12 minutes; or fill unbaked tart shells and bake.
