Poppy Seed Bread
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 2 ¼ cups sugar
- 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 1/8 cups oil
- 1 ½ tbsp. poppy seed
- 1 ½ tsp. almond floavor
- 1 ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 ½ tsp. butter flavoring
Glaze
- 1 ½ cups confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. either butter, vanilla or almond flavorings
- enough milk for pouring consistency.
Instructions: Mix together 2 minutes in mixer. Bake in two greased and floured loaf pans or one bundt pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Glaze: mix ingredients and pour over cake as soon as it come out of the oven.
