Seven Layer Salad
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 4 boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 10 oz. pkg. of frozen peas, uncooked
- 1 diced onion
- 1⁄2 green pepper, chopped
- 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 T. sugar
- 1⁄2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions: Tear the lettuce into bite size pieces. Layer in order the celery, eggs, peas, onion, bacon and pepper. In seperate bowl mix the mayonnaise, and sugar. Pour over the salad and sprinkle with cheese. Refrigerate at least 6 hours and mix when ready to serve.
