Strawberry Pizza
- 1 ½ cups plain flour
- 1 ½ sticks melted butter
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 dashes salt
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups cool whip (8 oz. carton)
- 1-1 ½ pints strawberries, cut up
- ¾ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp. corn starch
- 1⁄3 cup water
Instructions: Mix the flour, butter, pecans, sugar and salt into a 12 inch pizza pan. Bake 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Cool. For the filling: Cream the sugar and the cream cheese. Stir in cool whip. Pour over the crust. For the topping: cook strawberries, sugar, corn startch and water over low heat until thick. Cool, spread on top of filling. Refrigerate.
Notes:
Peaches or blueberries could also be used.
