Sweet and Sour Marinade

Yield: about 2 cups of marinade
Ingredients:
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 12 c. vinegar
  • 12 c. pineapple juice
  • 12 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Place desired cut of beef or pork in a shallow dish; pour marinade over meat. Cover and marinate for at least four hours, turning meat occasionally. Baste meat with marinade during grilling. Yield: about 2 cups.
